Meet the Team

Gibson has held executive positions at Bank of America, Temple University, and BlueStar Energy, an energy IT startup he helped sell to a Fortune 200 company. Gibson served as a Marine Corps officer and State Representative in Pennsylvania. He graduated with a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy where he rowed Division I crew.

Jörgen has three decades’ experience in international finance. He has worked in financial structuring for multinational technology companies such as Ericsson and Cisco Systems, with development finance in international organizations such as the U.N. and the European Commission, and in developing technology as a service financing solutions. He has a B.S. from Lund University and a degree in international law, diplomacy, and economics from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy.

Mandy founded TreQ in 2023 to expedite next-generation computing clusters that include quantum processors. She is a seasoned quantum industry executive and inspirational leader with decades of global experience in national security. Mandy is known for building leaders and multinational teams who unlock the potential of disruptive ideas. She holds engineering degrees from the US Air Force Academy and MIT, and a degree in international law, diplomacy, and economics from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy.

Anna guides TreQ with strategic insights related to product development and quantum technologies. She has industry experience at several quantum computing companies working with different processors. She has led product strategy, expanded hardware operations to new global locations, and led simulation-driven circuit design. Anna has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics from ETH Zürich, as well as a Ph.D. in Physics from ETH Zürich.

Nathan brings nearly a decade’s worth of practical quantum computing experience from both academia and industry. He has designed and built quantum computing systems at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Rigetti, and ParTec. He holds a PhD in Physics from Lancaster University.

Nathan Phillips has over 20 years’ experience managing advanced commercial software products development for large clients in a variety of industries. He holds a master’s degree in Computation from the University of Oxford. With this experience he brings best-practice development methodologies, architectures and patterns to the world of quantum-enabling classical software. His passions centre around compilers, domain-specific languages and the hardware-software interface.

Joseph has over ten years' experience in quantum hardware and firmware. He has led the development of technical solutions across the quantum computing stack from the error correction and control layers down to the chip-level. Joseph previously held roles at OQC and SEEQC, and holds a PhD in physics from the University of Oxford. 

Davide is Associate Director for Quantum Tech and Fellow of the Universities Space Research Association (USRA). He has  worked since 2012 in the NASA Quantum AI Laboratory (QuAIL) as leader of research projects in applied quantum computing. He has authored over 80 publications and 9 patents in the areas of AI, theoretical physics, quantum computing, and robotics. He has Ph.D.s from the International School for Advanced Scientific Studies (SISSA) in Trieste and the University of Grenoble, and his M.S. from the Ecole Normale Superieure of Lyon.

Julius is a technology executive whose expertise involves providing data strategy and solutions for cloud computing, data management, data storage, artificial intelligence and machine learning for DoD customers requiring enterprise IT solutions. He is a retired Navy rear admiral who holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, and an M.B.A. from William and Mary.

Lisa guides TreQ in global engagements and strategic communications. She is a former US Ambassador, CEO, UN delegate, and Wall Street Journal/USA Today best-selling author. She speaks and leads on partnership, mentorship, diversity, relationship building, and big ideas. As an Intel employee, she helped the company achieve a 73% share of the global semiconductor market. She served four presidents in the White House and Pentagon. Lisa is also Chairperson of the Diplomatic Courier’s futuristic think tank, World in 2050, and is a Distinguished Fellow at the Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanities, SMU Lyle School of Engineering. 

Reema is the CEO and Founder of Green Sands Equity. She also specializes in strategic advisory for governments in their branding for Foreign Direct Investment. Reema is a Managing Member of the U.N. Women in Science & Technology Platform on behalf of the Royal Academy of Science International. She lectures at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Berkeley Haas School of Business on Generational Wealth Management, Investment, AI, and Entrepreneurship.

Liz’s manufacturing and supply chain experience is invaluable to TreQ. She was previously the General Manager for Quantum Engineering Solutions at Keysight Technologies. She has decades of experience in the quantum, wireless, aerospace, and defense industries. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from Boston University.

Melvin provides TreQ guidance on workforce and team development. He has extensive experience training and leading individuals and teams in a variety of demanding environments. His professional leadership duties culminated as Commanding General of the U.S. Marine Corps’ Training and Education Command. Mel holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

Kyle is a senior leader with a bias for action and a passion for driving results across finance and operations. He has decades of experience working with early-stage startups, public companies, and expeditionary engineering teams to translate ambitious strategies into outcomes. He is a military veteran, an alumnus of Apple, Wayfair, and Rigetti, and holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia as well as an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

David brings over 40 years’ executive leadership experience with advanced technology companies. As a former President/CEO and Chairman of multiple publicly traded companies and founder of several venture-backed startups, he provides tactical and strategic advice to TreQ’s leadership team while bringing a stakeholder-focused approach to TreQ’s Board.

Sue is the Founder/CEO of Arrow Applied Solutions, L.L.C. She provides strategic engineering consultation to Tiger Technology Solutions (Tripod) in the printed circuit board industry. She held an executive position at Park Electrochemical Corp. and garnered manufacturing leadership experience through various managerial/operational and engineering positions in the electronics industry. Sue served in the Navy as a General Unrestricted Line officer. She holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.S. from Long Island University.

Steve is a Founding General Partner of Lavrock Ventures and has served as an investor, founder, and advisor with a wide range of early-stage companies. Prior to founding Lavrock in 2016, Steve spent nearly five years at Blu Venture Investors, a seed-stage investment firm where he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring, and portfolio management. He also co-founded Authentag, a software company that provides supply chain security solutions through unique item and identity management for counterfeit prevention, targeted recalls, and granular supply chain visibility. Prior to obtaining his MBA, Steve began his career in roles at BB&T Capital Partners (now Five Points Capital), and GE Capital.
