Gib is responsible for driving the growth of TreQ’s enterprise value. He has held executive positions at Bank of America, Temple University, and BlueStar Energy, a startup energy IT company. Gibson served as a Marine Corps officer and State Representative in Pennsylvania. He graduated with a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy where he rowed Division I crew.

Jörgen Bengtsson

Chief Financial Officer

Jörgen has three decades of experience in international finance. He has worked in financial structuring in multinational technology companies such as Ericsson and Cisco Systems, with development finance in international organizations such as the U.N. and the European Commission, and in developing technology as a service financing solutions. He has a B.S. from Lund University and a degree in international law, diplomacy, and economics from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy.

Mandy Birch, PE

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Mandy founded TreQ to expedite next-generation computing clusters that include quantum processors. She is a seasoned quantum industry executive and inspirational leader with decades of global experience in national security. Mandy is known for building leaders and multinational teams who unlock the potential of disruptive ideas. She holds engineering degrees from the US Air Force Academy and MIT, and a degree in international law, diplomacy, and economics from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy.

Kyle Horton

Executive Advisor, Operations

Kyle is a Senior leader with an insatiable bias for action and passion for driving results across every layer of finance and operations. He has decades of experience working with early-stage startups, public companies, and expeditionary engineering teams to translate ambitious strategy into outcomes. He is a military veteran, alumni of Apple, Wayfair, and Rigetti, and holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia as well as an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

Franklin Reid Stroessner

Administration and Information Technology Intern

Franklin manages and advises on TreQ’s information technology systems, social media, branding, and marketing. As a junior at Roanoke College, he majors in Economics with a Management Concentration. He is President of the Sigma Chi Tau Chapter as well.

Anna Stockklauser, PhD

Executive Advisor, Product Development

Anna provides TreQ with strategic insight regarding product development and component integration. She is Quantum Motion’s VP of Product. At Rigetti Computing, she led product strategy, established Rigetti’s U.K. hardware operation, and led its simulation-driven circuit design. She has a B.S. and M.S. degress in physics from ETH Zürich, as well as a Ph.D. in Physics from ETH Zürich.

John Suter

Marketing and Operations Intern

Jack manages TreQ’s information technology systems, social media, branding, and marketing. Jack recently graduated with a B.S. in Quantitative Economics from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a Naval Flight Officer, awaiting Naval Flight Officer training in Pensacola, FL.

Nathan Woollett, PhD

Principal Engineer

Nathan brings nearly a decade’s worth of practical quantum computing experience from both academia and industry. He has designed and built quantum computing systems at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Rigetti, and ParTec. He holds a PhD in Physics from Lancaster University.

Strategic Advisor: Communications and Diplomacy

Lisa guides TreQ in global engagements and strategic communications. She is a former US Ambassador, CEO, UN delegate, and Wall Street Journal/USA Today best-selling author. She speaks and leads on partnership, mentorship, diversity, relationship building, and big ideas. As an Intel employee, she helped the company achieved a 73% share of the global semiconductor market. She served four presidents in the White House and Pentagon. Lisa is also Chairperson of the Diplomatic Courier’s futuristic think tank, World in 2050, and is a Distinguished Fellow at the Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanities, SMU Lyle School of Engineering. 

Liz Ruetsch

Strategic Advisor: Supply Chain & Manufacturing Development

Liz’s manufacturing and supply chain experience is invaluable to TreQ. She was previously the General Manager for Quantum Engineering Solutions at Keysight Technologies. She has decades of experience in the quantum, wireless, aerospace, and defense industries. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from Boston University.

MajGen Melvin Spiese, USMC (Ret)

Strategic Advisor: Workforce and Team Development

Mel provides TreQ guidance on workforce and team development. He has extensive experience training and leading individuals and teams in a variety of demanding environments. His professional leadership duties culminated as Commanding General of the U.S. Marine Corps’ Training and Education Command. Mel holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

Brig Gen David Warner, USAF (Ret)

Strategic Advisor: Performance Leadership & Organizational Growth

David is a leadership and strategy coach supporting TreQ’s leadership team and boards. He is a retired U.S. Air Force brigadier general. His expertise is in cyber operations and IT/communications infrastructure. David is pursuing a Ph.D. and holds a B.A. from Southwest Texas State University, and an M.B.A. from Central State University. David graduated with distinction from Air Command and Staff College, and was a Senior Executive Fellow at Harvard University’s J.F.K. School of Government.

RADM Julius Caesar, USN (Ret)

Director

“JC” is a technology executive who is active on several boards. His expertise involves providing data strategy and solutions for cloud computing, data management, data storage, artificial intelligence and machine learning for DoD customers requiring enterprise IT solutions. He is a retired Navy rear admiral who holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy where he played Division I football, and an M.B.A. from William and Mary.

Melissa retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving as the Commander of the 67th Cyberspace Wing. There she led 2,000 Airmen and civilians across 26 units at 7 global locations. Melissa is an expert in cyber and network infrastructure and operations. She is a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, holds an M.A. in Organizational Management from George Washington University, and an M.S. from the National War College.

Dave brings over 40 years’ executive leadership experience with advanced technology companies. As a former President/CEO and Chairman of multiple publicly traded companies and founder of several venture backed startups, he provides tactical and strategic advice to TreQ’s leadership team while bringing a stakeholder-focused approach to TreQ’s Board.
